A Monk and two candlesStanding at the edge of the cliff, he glanced around. No sign of anyone. Though she was watching from the forest not far away. She watched him as he looked down. The ground not even visible. She watched him as he took a step closer to the edge, but feared crying out to him. His choice, don't interferre. She watched as he took another step toward the cliff, then jumped. She ran to the edge looking over. The last thing he saw was her face. Her eyes. She watched as he got smaller and smaller, till he was gone.
